Dubai, UAE – 06 July, 2009: Brocade® (Nasdaq: BRCD) today announced that it has selected Mindware as a Brocade Alliance Partner Network Distributor for the Middle East and Africa, helping to expand its existing data center distribution network to enterprise IP networking products via channel reseller partners. Brocade selected Mindware for its ability to efficiently deliver networking solutions to channel reseller partners, as well as its extensive knowledge, skills, and expertise in the networking industry.
The selection of Mindware as a distributor is one element of Brocade’s global Alliance Partner Network programme. The channel reseller programme consists of four distinct partnership levels: distributor, elite, premier, and select. All levels have been designed with specific requirements and benefits to help partners leverage and be rewarded for their networking product knowledge and solution support expertise. As part of this partner-enablement strategy, Brocade will provide partners deal registration to help ensure project and investment protection. In addition, Brocade has extensively expanded its dedicated sales, marketing, and technical support model to support these high-quality partnerships.
“Mindware has a great reputation and presence among the IT community in the Middle East and Africa, and I am delighted to welcome it to the new global Alliance Partner Network programme,” said Amanda Giddins, EMEA Channel Sales Director at Brocade. “By partnering with Mindware, Brocade channel resellers will be able to leverage their extensive data centre networking and enterprise IP networking product expertise and solution support to help customers build extraordinary networks.”
“Mindware’s business has been formed on providing our resellers and customers with the very best technology and business solutions available,” said Jacques Chammas, Managing Director at Mindware. “Brocade’s end-to-end networking portfolio allows us to offer our 2,500 resellers market-leading products, which can enhance their proposition to end customers. I envisage that our relationship with Brocade will be a win-win situation for all concerned.”
