NYiT Concludes Talent Show 2010
With 60 students from Jordanian universities and private schools, New York Institute of Technology NYiT concluded the 6th annual Talent Show’10 that aims at encouraging students to bring to light their talents and creativity in various art forms.

1/5/2010 Amman - With 60 students from Jordanian universities and private schools, New York Institute of Technology NYiT concluded the 6th annual Talent Show’10 that aims at encouraging students to bring to light their talents and creativity in various art forms.
The university praised the quality of the input in this year’s Talent Show. They commended on the segments that included composing, singing, and acting. Students presented several types of Arabic and Western music, in addition to folklore, bridging cultures and entwining the future with the past.
NYiT stated that the show falls under the field activities and social events they organize annually to stimulate the youth’s creativity, urging them to participate in constructive contributions, whether social, academic, sport, or artistic.
As a display of talent, the students authored most of the show’s segments, displaying their abilities in writing lyrics and composing music, in addition to choreography.
More than 1000 parents and academics attended the event which was sponsored by Nescafe, Red Bull, Energy Radio, and Agency One.
NYIT is a non-profit university that entered Jordan in 2001 under an academic agreement with the Jordan University of Science and Technology. It comprises three faculties that teach a variety of courses; school of Engineering and Technology, school of Management, school of Arts.
