NYIT holds annual faculty meeting in Amman
Under the patronage of Dr. Edward Guiliano, President of the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT), the annual faculty meeting of the university was held in Amman. Also present was the Chairperson of the |Board of Trustees, Dr. Linda Davila and NYIT Middle East Executive Chairman, Dr. Mohamed Hussein. Dr. Mohamed Hussein welcomed the president and, Chair of Board of Trustees, along with other dignitaries, including Dr. Cyrus Reed, Vice President For Global Programs, Dr. Roger Yu, Dean of the College of Arts, Sciences and Dr. Robert Vogt, External Advisor to the President of NYIT.

Dr. Mohamed Hussein welcomed the president and, Chair of Board of Trustees, along with other dignitaries, including Dr. Cyrus Reed, Vice President For Global Programs, Dr. Roger Yu, Dean of the College of Arts, Sciences and Dr. Robert Vogt, External Advisor to the President of NYIT.
In his opening remarks, Dr. Edward Guiliano highlighted the need to invest in the potential of the youth, enhance leadership skills among them and promote their role in various fields. He pinpointed in this context NYIT's plans to introduce programs designed to help young people realize their aspirations on the one hand, and meet the requirements of the coming stage, on the other.
He said the university continues to support sports and cultural activities, in addition to humanitarian initiatives, in partnership with NGOs. The aim, he said, is to support the youth sector and empower young men and women to better serve humanity amid accelerating changes in the present and the future.
