Saudi-based newspaper, Al Watan Newspaper, ended its brief lapse from Dubai after signing a strategic agreement with Mediaquest Corporation yesterday.  As an exhibitor at the upcoming Media and Marketing Show (MMS) 2010, Al Watan Newspaper will be reconnecting with international media representatives based in Dubai.

The resumption of Al Watan Newspaper presence in Dubai was made possible by a strategic agreement with Mediaquest Corporation, one of the leading media companies in the MENA region.  Mediaquest publishes a broad portfolio of well-regarded business titles including Trends, Saneou Al Hadath, Arabies, Communicate, Gulf Marketing Review, GMR-Online, Al Tasweeq Al Arabi and Raceweek.

Hatim Mouminah, CEO of Al Watan Newspaper stated that “as an exhibitor at MMS Dubai, one of the world’s leading networking and educational resource platforms for media and marketing professionals, Al Watan will celebrate its return with thousands of industry professionals from the region and around the world.”

Julian Harawi, CO-CEO from Mediaquest said that “since Al Watan Newspaper establishment in 2000 it has quickly grown to become one of the top three most read Arabic daily newspapers in Saudi Arabia and is the most quoted local newspaper by international media today.  With this strategic agreement Mediaquest will be able to give Al Watan unprecedented coverage in Dubai.”
