“Ramadan is More Delicious with Deema Hajjawi” surpassed thousands of popular applications, currently ranking the second most downloaded application in less than 12 hours since its release at the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, according to application store statistics.
The application, which was developed and launched recently by Mobile Channels Company (MCC Arabia) and installed on most mobile phones in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Jordan, delivers detailed recipe instructions for a wide range of Arabian dishes, Levantine appetizers, and Ramadan sweets.
In her comment, Chef Deema Hajjawi expressed her pleasure for the success of the applications, saying: “I am glad that the application won the appreciation of a large number of mobile phone users and achieved high downloads in a short period of time. I thank MCC Arabia and appreciate its distinguished efforts to build the application which is intended to help housewives get ideas about preparing delicious dishes from various parts of the world during Ramadan.”
For his part, MCC Arabia’s General Manager, Anas Hijjawi, said: “The application was designed to provide aspiring chefs, housewives, and cooking enthusiasts with access to a long list of trusted, quick and easy recipes with complete ingredients and instructions, photos and cooking tips.”
Noting that “Ramadan is More Delicious” application is one of the application line-up developed by the leading company specialized in mobile applications development and content distribution for Ramadan, Hijjawi added: “We have been recently engaged in designing a number of Ramadan-themed apps whose diversified content satisfies the various needs of Muslim users and helps them observe Islam’s holiest month.”
Remarkably, the applications which were developed by MCC and are currently available at Application Stores encompass “Islamic Pearls”; an app that aims to enrich users’ information about the teachings of the Prophet’s Sunnah regarding the fasting of Ramadan along with the practices that Prophet Mohammad and his companions used to do during Ramadan.
In addition, there is “Walking in the Prophet’s Footsteps” application which features the most important turning points during the Prophet’s life together with Ghazwat and Futuhat campaigns that resulted in the spread of Islam.
It is worth mentioning that the content of MCC applications which were launched in sync with the advent of Ramadan ranges from information about Islam to educational and entertaining content targeted at children, such as the interactive alphabet teaching application.
