DUBAI, United Arab Emirates – March 07, 2013 – Red Hat, Inc. (NYSE: RHT), the world’s leading provider of open source solutions, has announced its participation in the Java Developers Conference 2013, taking place in Cairo, Egypt on the 8th and 9th of March 2013. Conference participants can attend presentations by Red Hat on the company’s open source solutions for middleware, cloud, big data, storage and virtualization as well as engage with representatives of Red Hat at its stand.
“Participating in an event that caters specifically to the software development community is a great way to generate interest around the exciting technologies and solutions that we at Red Hat have to offer. Our message of standards based open source development is something that resonates with members of the Egyptian Java User Group. We see this as an opportunity to interact with and share our expertise with this community as well as a platform to highlight how our solutions such as OpenShift, Red Hat JBoss Middleware and Red Hat Enterprise Linux can add quick and measurable benefits to SMB and enterprise IT deployments,” said George DeBono, general manager, Middle East, Turkey and Africa, Red Hat.

Also acknowledging the growing trend of web application deployment, the company will deliver a presentation on Red Hat JBoss Data Grid, a solution which significantly enhances application performance without adding strain on computational resources.
