Rotana Jet continues Middle East expansion
Two flights a week connect Kingdom of Bahrain with Abu Dhabi's Al Bateen Airport

Rotana Jet today announced twice weekly flights between Abu Dhabi Al Bateen Airport and Kingdom of Bahrain.
Kingdom of Bahrain marked the second International destination of Rotana Jet after Salalah in Sultanate of Oman. Following on successfully connecting flights between Al Bateen and Salalah the addition of Bahrain demonstrates the airline’s commitment to expand to destinations that are largely underserved and have great market potential. The flights are in agreement with Tour Operators promoting the destination.
“Today marks a very special occasion as we celebrate our launch into a city and country that show enormous potential and growth. Bahrain is another example of Rotana Jet’s commitment to provide passengers with choice and great value with easy access. 2013 will continue to be one of Rotana Jet’s biggest years of expansion addressing the underserved markets that our strategy has focused on. As we continue to grow and receive more aircraft, we will look at other opportunities to expand our network and further strengthen our brand presence. This includes the GCC region initially,” said Rajendran Vellapalath, Rotana Jet’s Commercial and Planning Director.
For travelers from the capital, flights will operate between Al Bateen Airport in Abu Dhabi and Bahrain on Thursdays and Saturdays. The Abu Dhabi – Bahrain flights will depart Abu Dhabi Al Bateen Airport at 1830 hrs and arrive in Bahrain International Airport at 1830 hrs. The return flights will depart Bahrain International Airport on the same days at 1915 hrs and arrive in Abu Dhabi Al Bateen Airport at 2115 hrs.
Passengers to Bahrain will travel on a 50-seat Embraer Jet aircraft.
