Saif Bin Darwish achieves another safety milestone and receives Al Ain City Municipality award.

The UAE, locally owned civil engineering and building construction company, Saif Bin Darwish (www.saifbindarwish.com), have been honored with an award from the Al Ain City Municipality for achieving an impressive 5 million man hours of continuous working without any reportable lost time incidents.
The contract demanded tight deadlines to the highest quality of standards and Saif Bin Darwish were appointed for the development of road network and intersections to Al Rawda Palace in Al Ain. The scheme consisted of considerable truck and slip road construction, bridges, culverts, ground contouring and landscaping and irrigation works, specialist civil engineering works, fencing, service roads, street lighting, relocation of existing services, two underground reservoirs, sand stabilization works and major wadi construction. The company achieved international benchmark standards of safety and quality and finish, in the opportunity provided in this contract. The Company is thankful to Al Ain City Municipality and AECOM for their constant and enduring support.
This award is the latest of many. The company also achieved full accreditation against BS 9001:2008 ( Quality Management), BS 14001:2004 ( Environmental Management) and OHSAS 18001:2007 ( Health & Safety Management) during early 2012, making it one of the few locally owned civil engineering and building construction companies within the UAE with these internationally recognized accreditations.
