Scholars from Diverse Cultural Backgrounds to Nourish PMU Students

Seventy new faculty members representing the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, France and several other countries are set to join Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (PMU) in the upcoming academic session.

Al-Khobar | Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: Seventy new faculty members representing the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, France and several other countries are set to join Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (PMU) in the upcoming academic session.
“PMU administration maintains its commitment to impart quality education to students through their exposure before the best of subject experts representing diverse academic and cultural backgrounds,” said the Rector, Dr. Issa Al-Ansari post this large scale recruitment.
With the new recruitment comprising of 42 male and 28 female faculty members, PMU would now have the representation of scholars from 32 countries in its bandwagon. All new faculty members will take part in orientation programs prior to their active participation in academic schedules. Academic leadership of this university would guide them further.
Recruited faculty members are slated to join PMU Colleges of Business; Engineering; Computer Engineering & Sciences; College of Arts & Sciences and for the preparatory program. “Newly recruited faculty members represent variegated specialties and disciplines to teach in all PMU Colleges,” said Mr. Iyad Maher Bader, Director of International Recruitment & Faculty Affairs.
PMU took strategic steps to recruit such large number of faculty members through keeping in consideration the well planned academic expansion of the university in near future. Panel of consultants and academicians were involved to complete the whole recruitment exercise.
This team had rigorously studied the multiple factors to shortlist candidature of academicians to join the university’s growing faculty team. PMU has unique mechanism and applies latest teaching tools to impart quality education. All newly appointed faculty members would attend workshops besides reviewing the university curricula before their involvement in the study programs.
PMU maintains the academic accreditation standards through inviting competent and highly scholastic faculty members to join it. The university has been enrolling students from various parts of the country.
Large chunk of international students from the GCC countries and those from the expatriate communities enroll for higher education. They pursue education in PMU which is of international standard.
