SHASTECH has recently marked its sixth anniversary with a celebration attended by over 350 top clients and company-partner representatives and during which the leading Saudi distributor and retailer of technology products unveiled its new identity Via Arabia for the first time.
The ceremony which was held at the Ritz-Carlton under the patronage of SHASTECH’s Chairman of the Board of Directors, Eng. Tareq Al Ghunaim, featured a documentary about the company’s 6-year record of achievements which made the company stand out locally in the area of smart technology.
In the opening statement, Eng. Al Ghunaim complimented the event, saying: “It gives me great pleasure to be here with you today to celebrate together the successful completion of six years of hard work and unremitting devotion which paid off in outstanding performance that made SHASTECH shine in its area of expertise during a relatively short period of time.”
“We aspire, using our diverse capabilities and all human efforts, to take our competitiveness to the next level and enter into new partnership agreements with most of the world’s leading smart technology producers to diversify our product range and increase our market share,” Eng. Al Ghunaim added.
Besides 3D laser shows, the agenda of the sixth annual ceremony included a comedy sketch performed in Arabic by the Korean star, Wonho Chung. In addition, SHASTECH’s General Manager, Eng. Mohammad Ali Mohammad, presented two 2012 Toyota Prado and Yaris cars respectively to Konoz Al Baraka’s General Manager, Mr. Najib Al Horebi, and Ali Al Ghamdi Company’s General Manager, Mr. Ali Al Ghamdi, SHASTECH’s top clients who won Samsung loyalty program big prize for achieving the highest sales rates of Samsung products during the first quarter of 2012.
Eng. Mohammad also honored the company’s finance department employee, Mr. Mohammad Bader, with a certificate of recognition and a free week-long family trip to Disneyland Paris in recognition of his distinguished efforts and dedication to the company.
Highlighting the major strides which SHASTECH has made since it started the ball rolling, Eng. Mohammad praised the professional manner in which the company’s staff carry out their jobs and stressed the keenness of SHASTECH’s higher administration to invest in its personnel who are the ultimate source of the company’s success.
Concluding his speech, Eng. Mohammad encouraged the employees to keep up the hard work they put to maintain SHASTECH’s position as a leading Saudi company in its field.
