AMMAN/DOHA, 27 August, 2013 — In a step aimed to expand its branch network in the region, the leading Arab company specialized in translation and linguistic services (www.tarjameh.com), has opened its new branch in the Qatari capital, Doha, less than six months after inaugurating its Riyadh office in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The company, which employs more than 1,000 full and part-time translators, said that the new branch was added to expand it outreach to customers in the Arabian Gulf region in general, and Qatar, in particular. The outlet would provide regional and international companies with the opportunity to benefit from the company’s services, which range from translation, editing, proofreading and content provision, along with other linguistic services that cover 70 percent of the world’s languages.
Commenting on the new development, Tarjameh CEO Mahmoud Al Abed said that the company “is keen on employing state-of-the-art technologies and software solutions to ensure time-efficient, high-quality and smooth services for our customers”.
In order to preserve the contextually and consistency of the translated texts, Tarjameh employs Translation Memory software in all its projects, which empowers its translators, spread in over 32 countries, to be consistent with their word choice.
He added: “As we provide our services, we rely on a network of translators located all over the world, each of whom offers linguistic services in their respective mother tongues, along with qualified editors who assure a high quality of the produced text”.
Al Abed pointed out that Tarjameh’s translation process includes three basic steps, starting with the Account Manager receiving the documents needed to be translated, then classifying them and handing them to translators specialized in the project’s field, and finally the texts being proofread and edited to assure an accurate output.
It is worth noting that Tarjameh translator network is considered the largest and most reliable in the region, with members specialized in a diversity of fields ranging from media, economy, engineering, medicine, banking and finance, literature, and ICT.
