Dubai, UAE; June 17, 2010: The Address Montgomerie Dubai and Arabian Ranches Golf Club, premium golf retreats of Emaar Hospitality Group, will host a charity putting competition at The Dubai Mall on June 18 and 19, 2010, in association with UAE Red Crescent Authority.
The proceeds of the event will be donated to Make-A-Wish Foundation, the wish-granting charity organisation dedicated to enriching the lives of children with life threatening illnesses.
Mr Marc Dardenne, Chief Executive Officer, Emaar Hospitality Group and Emaar Hotels & Resorts said: “Make-A-Wish Foundation focuses on the positive, bringing magic and joy to children by granting their most cherished wishes. This in turn instills in them hope and strength, as they fight through the tougher times. By organizing the charity competition, The Address Montgomerie Dubai and Arabian Ranches Golf Club are partnering in a noble initiative that touches the lives of little ones.”
For a minimal participation charge, which goes towards charity, adults and children alike can try and ‘sink a hole-in-one’ at the ‘course’ specially created opposite The Dubai Fountain. They can win an array of prizes ranging from 18-hole golf vouchers, brunches for two, or a night’s stay in one of the prestigious properties.
