The Longines Sport Collection: new additions in 2009
New creations have been added to the Longines Sport Collection, the Swiss watch brand known by its winged hourglass logo. The Admiral and GrandeVitesse lines have been expanded to include four new models. Ceramic versions of the 24-hour model with a second time-zone and the chronograph model have been added to the Admiral range. Moreover, a special model which combines the two functions has been created for each line. Launched in 2008, Longines Admiral - with its sleek but robust silhouette - is a perfect example of Longines' innate ability to marry elegance and performance. The GrandeVitesse line embodies the concept of high speed through a series of models that pay tribute to the memory of the fastest men in history. With their fluid lines, aerodynamic curves and double tachymeter they are bound to catch the eye of today's daring sportsmen who love high speed.
