Wolff Olins opens third global hub in Dubai to start serving the fast growing Asian markets

Wolff Olins, the brand consultancy behind GE, London 2012, Sony Ericsson, Tate and Unilever, announces today that it has chosen Dubai as its third global hub. Wolff Olins opened their offices at DIFC, to focus on strengthening and serving its widening client base across the Middle East and Asia.

Wolff Olins believes that companies operating across the region, particularly in the emerging markets, will build the next generation of global brands. The company predicts that as Asian businesses adopt a more sophisticated approach to marketing, western brands could risk being left behind. This is a region growing in confidence and economic power, and brands trying to break into the market need to be aware that they will have to find new ways in order to become successful. Wolff Olins sees Dubai as the ideal base to continue its work of helping clients break away from their competitors, to become something unique and credible both at a local and global level.

The new office will be led by Charles Wright and Abed Bibi. Wright a Wolff Olins board director and Arabic speaker has considerable experience within the region; clients include Grameenphone, PwC, Airtel, Qatar Financial Centre and Majid Al Futtaim. Bibi is a marketer with over twenty years experience in the Middle East; he has worked with a diverse range of clients, including Sama Dubai, Du Telecoms and Dubai Properties.
