Third broadband service provider launches in UAE

Etisialat and du are not the only broadband service providers in the UAE; there’s a new kid on the block. YahClick, a subsidiary of Mubadala’s YahSat, launched today a satellite broadband available through providers SkyStream and Safa Telecom.

The YahSat has coverage in 28 countries across the Middle East, Africa and Central and South-West Asia, covering one billion people. YahClick is already live in 11 countries including Afghanistan, Iraq and South Africa, with the rest set to go online by the end of 2014.
