UN nuclear chief says hopes for deal with Iran soon

The U.N. nuclear watchdog chief said on Monday he still hoped for a framework agreement soon with Iran to resume a long-stalled investigation into suspected nuclear weapons research in the Islamic state.

The U.N. nuclear watchdog chief said on Monday he still hoped for a framework agreement soon with Iran to resume a long-stalled investigation into suspected nuclear weapons research in the Islamic state.
Yukiya Amano, director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), also told a news conference that satellite images indicated “activities” at Iran’s Parchin military site, including the demolishing of buildings there.
