Tawam Hospital takes the first steps towards the Walk for Life In affiliation with Johns Hopkins Medicine, Tawam organizes a walk with cancer patients and their families
Tawam Hospital, the region's leading medical institution in affiliation with Johns Hopkins Medicine, the world-class medical institution based in the USA, together with over 500 cancer patients, children and parents, walked the second "Walk for Life" entitled Hope and Help for Cancer Patients in AL Ain Zoo & Aquarium. The initiative is aimed to increase cancer awareness and is the second of its kind to be hosted by the government-owned hospital. All proceeds from the "Walk for Life" event will be given to Oncology patients. Cancer can affect anyone and we believe that efforts such as these help to create awareness of the illness as well as serve an important role in maintaining the general public aware of cancer and its effects
