Lulu has a range of supermarkets, hypermarkets and department stores catering to a largely middle-income target group. According to a report of prices collected by the Ministry of the Economy on June 23, the Lulu Centre in Dubai was the cheapest for several items.
The company recently signed an agreement with the UAE Ministry of Economy (MoE), to reduce prices of essential food prices during Ramadan. Lulu had also joined other retail outlets earlier in the year to enforce the government’s price stabilization program to reduce inflation.
