Al Shaibani’s royal links don’t end with Sheikh Mohammed.
The International Humanitarian City (IHC) is an independent free zone authority created by the Dubai Government as a global humanitarian and aid hub to facilitate development efforts. A board member of the IHC, Al Shaibani works under its chairwoman, Princess Haya.
The Jordanian princess, who is married to Dubai’s Ruler Sheikh Mohammed, is well-known worldwide for her humanitarian efforts. Princess Haya was the first Arab and first woman to serve as a Goodwill Ambassador to the UN World Food Program from 2005 till 2007.
She is also the first Arab woman to compete in equestrian sport at Olympic level.
