According to CNN, DreamWorks has generated a total of $2bn from the Shrek franchise. You can get anything on the ogre – from plush slippers costing around $20, a monopoly game at $35, a Shrek baby bowling package at $160, to even a Shrek Smash ‘N’ Crash Racing Nintendo game at $29.
Merchandise from other DreamWorks’ hits including Madagascar, Shark Tale, Wallace and Gromit is also available and on Amazon.com, you can buy a used Shark Tale soundtrack for just $1.37. Toys, posters, books and games- they are all there.
