The global skin-care brand with the famous Blue Tin cream, Nivea has been around for nearly 100 years. New product is keeping it youthful.

Last year, Beiersdorf Middle East posted a 47 percent net sales growth compared to 2006. This, according to the company, is its best result since it started operations in the region 40 years ago. Qatar posted the highest individual country result with more than 69 percent sales growth.
The company currently claims to be the top position in the mid priced color cosmetics sector, with Nivea Beauté having a market share of 46.2 percent in the region.
Internationally, the Beiersdorf group sales rose by 9.1 percent and reached around $8.7bn in 2007. Nivea grew by 11.4 percent globally.
